Getting started is easy! Go through these steps, and let us help you along the way:

1.) Fill out the Spring Systems new customer Setup Form. We'll walk you through the next two.

2.) Join GS1 (formally the Uniform Code Council): To begin doing business with an EDI trading partner, a GSI company prefix is required by most major retailers in order to conduct business via EDI.

3.) Sign up for an online catalog service: Does your retailer require you to utilize a third party catalog such as Inovis, GXS, Intertrade, or a GDSN data pool? Often a particular catalog is mandated by your retailer as their preferred way for you to send them your product data. We can guide you in the right direction.

4.) Setup your vendor account and test it with your retailer. Spring Systems will act as your EDI team and take care of all EDI and label setup, testing, and verification requirements.
